ExpositionWhen the Loisels came back from the ball, the necklace Mme. Loisel was missing.She also decided not to tell Mme. Forester about it because she thought she would get mad with her. They had to think of a way quickly to get the Necklace back without Mme. Forester realizing it wasn't hers.

Rising Action Mr. Loisel found the necklace under the couch and wasn't surprised. Mrs. Loisel would always loss thing in the house and just didn't remember where she put them. He decided that he wasn't going to tell her that he even found the necklace.
Okay. The necklace wasn't lost she just dropped it.

Well I don't know. I guess now we will have to work to pay for it.

Falling Action She became a maid because she loved to see such luxury items so much. She loved to do this because she was loved the view of people having luxury things. She kind of hated it because she always felt that she should have the luxury items, but she didn't complain.

Resolution He ended up and came out and told her that the whole time he had the necklace while she was giving him money to replace it. He told her that he was keeping his money to go back towards his rifle, that he gave her the money to buy her dress.

ClimaxMme. Loisel realizes that they still have to pay to get the necklace back. So she decides that she will have to get a job and help her husband get the money for it. The pawn shop gave them a estimated price of 34,000 fracs. Mr. Loisel knew that they wouldn't have to pay it back because he found the necklace but didn't say that he did.
It was only 500 francs dear......
