- Good day team, we have tasked by the mayor to investigate the mysterious novel virus. Any suggestions on how to go about it?
- The numbers are said to be spiraling, we must act fast.
- People seem to have to have differing views about this virus, perhaps we should conduct a qualitative study on people's perceptions.
- I second that, a qualitative study will give us an in-depth understanding, based on the finding of the study we can advise the mayor and medical team on appropriate measures to be taken
- We could also look at the impact of this novel virus in the community of Springville
- Numerical data would be of great importance in determining how big a problem this novel virus is.
- I get a sense that the team is interested in both qualitative and quantitative data, we will therefore use a mixed methods approach. Although this is time consuming, it will provide detailed information. If we are in agreement will conduct both qualitative and quantitative studies concurrently?
- We better get started before the situation gets out of hand
