Storyboard Text

  • On a gloomy afternoon, five villains gathered in a dark lair on an abandoned island. They were in a sour mood and wanted to wreak havoc amongst the people around the world.
  • I am so tired of life being perfect! I want to cause some trouble!
  • One villain in particular longed for a chance to visit the state of Ohio. He wanted to use his water powers to erode the area.
  • His name was Wet Willy, a well-known villain that uses destructive forces and transforms into water to wear away the surface around him. He is a water eroder and is mainly responsible for shaping the surface of the land.
  • He could turn himself into a stream or small, narrow river, as well as any body of water. The higher up or the greater gradient, the faster he could flow and erode the surface. Sometimes, he flowed in meanders or curves. The discharge of the stream was high, considering there was lots of water flowing in it.
  • I'm a stream!
  • A canyon or a deep gorge with a river flowing in it was created. A sinkhole was formed, a depression in the ground caused by the collapse of the surface.
  • He created a floodplain or area of low-lying ground adjacent to a river. Other features created by the deposition were alluvial fans, triangular-shaped deposits of water transported material, and deltas; wetlands that form as rivers empty their water and sediment into another body of water.
