Storyboard Text

  • It was hot sunny day , Chloe and her friends went outside to play. Chloe ran to the slide and quickly got to the top. Then, she slid down again and again, she thought it was the best thing ever. Chloe's friends started to get in a line so everyone could take turns to go down the slide.
  • HURRY UP!
  • Chloe quickly ran up to the front of the line and started to get up the slide, again. She said that it would be her last time. However, Chloe did not keep her word and just kept on cutting in front of the line. Her friends began to get upset with her. Chloe was having so much fun, she did not want to share the slide with the others.
  • It is not your turn Chloe.
  • You've said that three times already!
  • One last time I promise!
  • THIS IS NOT FAIR!
  • It is our turn! I'll tell mom!
  • Chloe's friends are more than just upset now, they do not think that this is fair at all. They've tried to be understanding but they had been waiting there for a while now. Chloe and her friends started yelling at each other and she just kept on claiming that it was her turn to go down the slide. Chloe is egocentric, she is not thinking about her friends' feelings, and she is just focused on having fun. After some name-calling and yelling, Chloe's parents came to find out what was happening. They approached her and explained what turn-taking and being fair is but Chloe is still making up excuses. After talking to her parents for a bit, she apologized to everyone and claimed that she was too tired to keep playing anyway, the slide was all theirs.
  • HEY! IT WAS MY TURN!
  • NO! I was here first!
