The Founding of Rome
Storyboard Text
- King Numa who was loved by the people of Lawton was kicked out by his brother Amale, and his daughter was banished to the temple of Mars (god of war)
- His daughter gave birth to twin boys but when King Amale heard about this, he sent his servants to drown the kids.
- The servants thought the kids were dead but the cradle they were in was floating and when they woke up and started crying a mother wolf came and took care of them.
- A few years later a man finds the kids and since he and his wife didn’t have kids they took in Romulus & Remus and took care of them. As Romulus & Remus grew up they helped out many people and their stories met their grandfather Numa who requested to meet them.
- Without knowing Numa was going to meet his grandson’s he waited for their arrival and once they came and were able to chat for a while he realized Romulus & Remus were his daughters' children. So he asked them to take back throne for him and since the twins were so cunning they gathered and army and dethroned Amale.
- After completing this task they decided to make a city by the river they were thrown into. But they disagreed on the name for it and since they were raised by wild animals, they fought it out until Reamus died and the city was named Rome by Romulus. He became an amazing king and since he was so nice, when he died he became a noble god of war.
