Question 3.The attendance for the basketball game was estimated to be 5,000 people but 2,500 people attended. What was the percent of error?
To solve this problem I first subtracted 2,500 from 5,000 to get 2,500. I then divided 2,500 by 2,500 to get 1. Lastly I multiplied this by 100 to get 100. Therefore the percent of error is 100%.
