- People would work to be up at the top. Many jobs people took the boss would tell them "Chop-Chop". No safety was ensured and people wouldnt care. They would send in their children which becomes a nightmare. People needed safety and the children did too, but this could only start if the government played to. The cities and towns became the center of work. Hopefully, those bosses would leave without a smirk.
- 1st issue: Children have labored and acted so tough. They work to help their parents who cant make enough. The Jobs they had were so very dirty. They did these jobs to earn just a little bit of turkey. They were thrown in small spaces and worked till they took their last breath. Forced up chimneys and could choke to death.
- 2nd issue: The conditions of work had no safety for the workers. People often died or became an amputee. The boss would mess around and leave them for other's. The injured couldnt work and became incomplete. Buisnesses had much power and needed to be stopped. So people would make unions to be included.
- Progressives: Henry Ford was a man of great intelligence in engineering. He was the one who made automobiles under the company name of Ford. Also the IWW was an organization or labor unions that fought for a good reason.
- Solutions: Firstly, Henry Ford set sanitation rules to his janitors and had the entire workplace cleaned each week, he also gave workers safety equipment. he also gave them breaks so that they could build strength. The IWW was a Labor Union of many workers and taught under the inspiration of Karl Marx. They also followed the idea of socialism to give the power and money not just to one person. They aslo had helped in the influence of enforcing the child labor laws.
- If we didnt have these influencers come and give us these grand ideas then we might still be in a terrible situation and the United States might have fallen as a country. However, thanks to these influencers and laws then we have made a more bearible time in the workplace and made it so others can live safely and provvide for their families.
