- Hello Everybody, my name is Anthony. Today, I will be telling you about one of the most important innovations made by my people, the Mayans. The Innovation I will be telling you about is the writing system. Follow me!
- Many years ago, my Ancestors created a writing system that everyone could understand by using symbols. They were called glyphs. This way, we could understand one another without anything stopping us. This helped us tell each other when there were enemies, if anything was happening and more. It was very useful and successful. Now, lets learn about how the writing system helps people today.
- Now, people don't use the Mayan system, but they do use a writing system using letters. This writing system is universal, and that means that everyone can understand each other, which is a great accomplishment. The Mayan writing system helped with these accomplishment by helping to show that you can make a writing system for everyone. I'm so glad that I got to share this with you and share my ancestors'success. Thank you for letting me teach you this! Goodbye!
