  • 3rd Punic War
  • Rome and Carthage fought. Rome was fearful of Carthage and wanted their granaries. They fought a navel war and the Romans found a enemy ship, so they copied it, and added a bridge with a hook on the end which eventually led to their victory in the war. They got peace and the granaries they wanted.
  • Rome and Carthage fought. Hannibal wanted revenge on the Romans for the first war. Rome was victorious. Carthage rode elephants all the way to Rome and was attacking them for 15 yrs. Then, Rome sailed to Carthage and burned their city to the ground and sold the people as slaves. Rome got a lot of money, new territories, and new resources.
  • Rome and Carthage fought. The Carthaginians were regaining power and Rome wanted to prevent it. The Romans were victorious. The Burned Carthage down and plowed salt into their fields so nothing would grow. Killed everyone or sold them into slavery. The Romans got Greece added to their empire off of this war.
