The Baking Brabander We are Bart and Michiel van Gaalen, two brothers, descendants of a well-known catering family in Den Bosch, so raised with Brabant delicacies. A family gathering was not complete without sausage rolls on the table. And a birthday never passed without Bossche balls.In our current hometown Zeist we missed the Brabant flavors with which we were raised. That's why we set to work ourselves with a recipe for traditional Brabant sausage rolls, and later also Bossche balls. What started as a hobby in our own kitchen, with enthusiasts in our circle of friends and family, grew into the Baking Brabander.
Oh, this is interesting...The local specialty food store in the Brabant province...They sell traditional Brabant sausage rolls, Brabant Bossche balls and Apple balls. Yammi!!!
