- In the year 540 BC, a little girl named Athena is learning how to sew, cook, and clean for her future husband A few years later she is very stressed because her parents are marrying her off. She doesn't feel ready or want to have a husband. A few years later, she has a very abusive husband who she divorces after beating him in a fist fight.
- It is now modern day and Athena (not the one we were just talking about) is hiding in a bathroom in a school field trip at a museum because she does not want to hear about more Athenian men. When she comes out of the bathroom she screams to the people about women rights and how boring the field trip is. She ends up getting a demerit. When she gets home she plops on her bed and enjoys her last few minutes of freedom. Her dad comes in and tells her the story of Athena (the one we were talking about before). She is her ancestor from long ago.
