- Breaking news: A women by the name of Stella Trax was found dead. The main suspect is her daughter Bobbie Trax.
- Jennifer Wilcox (teenager) is freaked out when she walks down stairs to hear a news report her grandma is watching that is talking about the murder of Stella Trax, her best friends mother.
- "I know Bobbie didn't murder anyone."
- The Stalker by Joan Lowery Nixon.
- Jennifer needs the help of private investigator Lucas Maldonaldo to prove that Bobbie was not the murderer. It takes some convincing because he is not quite sure if he wants to work with a teenager like Jennifer, but after some hard thinking and $300 he agrees.
- I need your help!
- Fine.
- Urggg!
- Jennifer and Maldonaldo secretly go to investigate Bobbies house. They realizes some pictures are missing, but otherwise there is nothing else.
- Hopefully something will show up.
- After Jennfer is done eating dinner with her grandma, she receives a phone call from a mysterious number. They warn her to stop investigating. Jennifer realizes that someone is watching her.
- "Back off Jennifer, or else."
- Hello?
- The police tell Jennifer that they have the investigation under control. Jennifer knows that they are not going to do anything to prove that Bobbie was not the killer, she knows they are convinced. Jennifer knows that Bobbie didn't do this, she will not give up.
- I know Bobbie, she would never hurt anyone!!!
- Please just leave it up to us, but as of now your friend is still guilty.
- CRKKKKK!!!!!
- Later that night, without telling Maldonaldo, Jennifer goes back to the crime scene. She finds juicy information that could tell her who the murderer is. Suddenly, she hears someone entering the house through a window...
