I have progressive bulbar palsy, which when it's broken down to words *clears throat* means my condition progresses past my symptoms right now, which include weak facial muscles, stuggling to swallow, and loss of speech
bulbar palsy means that it's my mouth, face, and throat that are partially immobile. I still have use of my limbs as you can see, but this condition is known to progress and affect my ability to be mobile.
*cough* Part of this disorder means that I cough, gag, or choke very easily, so I have to be careful.
this is caused by a few things, a brainstem tumor or stroke, but some degenerative disorders and autoimmune disorders. Theres been no found cure yet.
unfortuneatly this means i have a fairly short life span, which at first bummed me out, but i realized i still have life to live. At the most I have three years to cross off my bucket list. Even if I have to carry a hankerchief for my drool. *eye roll.*
Once it progresses I'll struggle to move my limbs and be mobile, so... had to skydive at some point!
