  • Quartering Act

  • The quartering Act was for the British soldiers that could not make it to close house or something they had permission from this Act not at all from the people that the soldiers were able to enter a home and live there until they decided to leave. The British people as well as the colonist had no say so in whether they entered or not.
  • Stamp Act
  • How dare you tax me for using playing cards and reading the newspaper! Here you go take my money.
  • The Writs of Assistance is a general search warrant issued by superior provincial courts to assist the British government in enforcing trade and navigation laws. Meaning that the British can enter a house without a so called warrent and search for smuggeled goods.
  • Decloration Act
  • ALRIGHT BRO CHILL I GET IT!!!! WE'RE SO GOING TO WAR!!!!!!
  • I AM GOING TO TAX YOU SO MUCH MORE AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS!!!!!
  • The Sugar Act was a law passed by the British Parliament in 1764 raising duties on sugar imported by the colonies so as to give British sugar growers in the West Indies a monopoly on the colonial market.

  • This Act in my opinion was pretty smart. The Stamp Act was an act that taxed certain items. Such as newspapers, playing cards, and legal documents.
  • The Decloration Act is pretty much just giving the King entire control over the Americans or the Colonists. This made the colonist extreamly angry but this was the only way the King wanted to go without deeply offenendng them.
  • This is just another taxing act where the King has nothing better to do and apparently isn't rich enough so he decides to tax more and more people to become even richer but ofcourse he has his reasons for the taxation.
  • We just can't catch a break huh?
