I once saw a car driving straight at me when I was crossing the road and they guy was on his phone and not paying attention. So I was very scared and did not know what to do so at the last second I had to dive out the road and then after the guy saw me diving he realized and got out of his car to check on me and he apologized for being on his phone while driving.
Since that day I always look on both sides before crossing the road and I get sort of scared every time I have to cross the road. I still get the memories and the goosebumps from that day and that experience. So I will always look to the sides before crossing the road and always pay attention while being outside or doing something with a road near me.
To all the little kids who live in a neighborhood and are playing with their friends or with a ball. They should always look to the sides before going on the road or wait for an adult to get them for them instead of them just running to get something or go somewhere.
