  • Later that day
  • Ammeters should have low resistance because it is always connected in series with the circuit.
  •
  • Why an ammeter should have a very low resistance
  •
  •
  • A voltmeter measures the voltage difference between two different points, but it should not have change the amount of currents going through the element between that two points. So, it should have very high resistance so that it doesn’t allow currents to pass through it.
  •
  • Why a voltmeter should have a very high resistance
  •
  • If the voltmeter has low resistance, then the current will split and flow through the voltmeter also, so it will give incorrect or unwanted results across the device. The internal resistance of an ideal voltmeter is infinity and the internal resistance of an ideal ammeter will be zero.
  •
  • So, what is going to happen if the voltmeter has low resistance
  •
  • Yea, happy to help, see you tomorrow bye
  •
  • Thank you for helping me, Oh the school already end, I guess I will be seeing you tomorrow bye
