- The leaders of the synagogue asked them to speak to the people. So Paul did so and preached a long Sermon about ‘justification by grace’. So the next Sunday all the cities turn to hear Paul. Act 13:16-23
- Ever since Paul spoke at the synagogue the world of God had spread through the whole region. God-fearing people threaten that Paul and Barnabas was going to be persecuted and they were expelled from the region. So they got up and left for Iconium.
- Paul and Barnabas spent some months in Iconium. They did the same thing Preached at Jewish Synagogues. The none believers made a plot against Paul and Barnabas to stone them. Once they heard of this plan they got up and left for Lystra in Lycaonia.
- In Lystra Paul saw a man who had never walked and he knew hw had faith. Paul looked right at him and said, "stand up". The man got up and started walking around. Acts 14:8-10
- The priest of Zeus, brought bulls and wreaths to the temple to offer Sacrifices to them. But when Paul and Barnabas heard this they tores their clothes and rushed out into the crowd shouting, " “Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human, like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and everything in them."
- Then some Jews came from Antioch and Iconium and won the crowd over. They stoned Paul and dragged him outside of the city thinking he was dead. Acts 14:20 The next day Paul left for Derbe. Once they won more disciples they went back through the city they came from to return to Antioch in Syria 49 A.D. about 3 year Journey.
