- IT WAS A WARM SATURDAY SPRING EVENING WHEN McKAYLA WAS CELEBRATING HER 14TH BIRTHDAY WITH HER FRIENDS. THERE WAS MUSIC AND DANCING
- McKAYLA IS UPSET
- WHEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN IT STARTED TO RAIN, McKAYLA WAS SUPER UPSET HER DRESS WAS RUINED, HER FRIENDS WERE SAD BECAUSE THEIR CLOTHES GOT DRENCHED AND THEIR HAIR WAS RUINED.

- THEY DECIDED TO THROW HER A SECRET PARTY AND SURPRISE HER, SO THEY GOT ALL THE DECORATIONS AND SET UP
- WHEN THEY SAW THE RAIN THEY HURRIED INSIDE TO GET SHELTER.

- EVERYONE FELT BAD FOR McKAYLA BECAUSE HER PARTY WAS RUINED, SHE WENT TO GO CRY UPSTAIRS IN ANOTHER ROOM, WHILE HER FRIENDS STAYED DOWNSTAIRS.
- McKayla's friends saw her upset so they wanted to make her feel better, they decided to throw her a surprise party to make up for the party that got ruined. They bought cake, food, and a radio and streamers so they can celebrate. They all set up quietly so that McKayla wouldn't hear.
- When McKayla was coming down the stairs, her friends yelled " SURPRISED" McKayla was definitely shocked, and her frown turned upside sown, she was happy again, then her and her friends celebrated her birthday. ( This shows what friends are for, they have your back, and will always make you feel better).
