- Hi, my name is Charles Darwin. I am a 22 year old setting sail on the BMS Beagle for a 5-year voyage around the world to see new things and places. Eventually, I'll become the ship's naturalist.P.S. I'm single.
- We have just landed on the Galapagos Islands. Here we are hoping to see many new animals.
- While on Galapagos Island, Darwin saw many fascinating animals. He saw many different types of the same animal. Such as, iguanas that on the mainland had short claws for climbing on trees and on the smaller islands had longer claws to be able to stay on the slippery rocks. Same with the turtles, where it was said you could tell which island the turtle was from based on its shell.
