- Rainsford leaned further onto the yacht. loosed his balance and fell off. He was in a panic as the yacht smacked him and continued crying for help.
- He struggle up to the surface and tried to cry out, but the wash from the speeding yacht smacked him in the face.
- When Rainsford woke up in the afternoon. In the forest, was feeling hungry and remembered the gun shots from before and investigate and found a dead animal with gun wounds.
- Where there are pistol shots, there are men, where there are men, there is food
- With Ivan the super giant human with a revolver pointing at Rainsford. Then General Zaroff appears and Ivan stops pointing and salutes and Zaroff welcomes Rainsford.
- It's a great pleasure and honor to welcome Mr. Sanger Rainsford.
- I'm Sanger Rainsford from New York. I fell of my yacht.

- Rainsford and General Zaroff discuss the animals they've hunted while eating. Zaroff revealed that hunting something with reason is exciting for him which was humans, Leading Rainsford in shock

- For he saw in the shadow valley that General Zarroff was still on his feet. But Ivan was not. the knife, driven by the recoil of the sapling tree, had not wholly failed.

- When Rainsford spotted Ivan and General Zarroff and made a sapling tree trap with the knife strapped in. The trapped worked but didn't kill Zarroff but killed Ivan. Then Rainsford dashed which he was near a cliff and leaped onto the sea while Zarroff shrugged and went back.
- Rainsford! How in God's name did you get here?
- Zarroff puffed his smoke and decided to back to his house. then decided going to bed, but Rainsford was hiding in the curtains which both they fought and Rainsford which he never felt a bed so comfy.
