- Wow Dad I never knew that you and Mom had to make a decision like that
- I was once in the same position as you. After the doctor told your mother and I that you were going to be born with Cystic Fibrosis, we were told that you wouldn't be able to live the life we wanted for you. The doctors were telling us it would be unlikely for you to make it past the age of 30. We decided to take our chances and give you the best possible life no matter what the circumstances and it paid off because you are the best thing to ever happen to us.
- I never knew that that is how your views on abortion were made. Thank you for telling me about that.
- Look, the views I have on abortion have nothing to do with the right of women to make their own decision. It is about how blessed I am that we made the right one in having you.
- Thanks for your advice, Dad. I think my wife and I will have to discuss some more but I think I want to keep the baby now! I love you!
- Whatever decision you end up making, your mother and I will support you 100%, Son. I love you!
