  • Soda and sugary drinks are some of the biggest contributors to the rise of obesity and are very unhealthy. Soda like pepsi contain very high sugar contents, as well as other unhealhy ingredients and additives like corn syrup. It would take about 50 minutes of running to burn the calories from one can of soda. Dispite these negatives over 63% of adults drink soda on a regular basis.
  • Many people eat poor diets, including fast food because it is often cheaper and more accesable for them. The people dont have to spend extra money and time cooking a nutritous healthy home meal because they can get a $3 meal in 5 minutes at a fast food place. These fast food meals are not healthy though, as high fats food consumption is a common theme among obese people.
  • As a result of the increase of less healthy diets and less exersize, child obesity is at about 19.9%. Also as a result diabetees rates amoung children have risen substantaly. This will often result in bullying, as well as potentially life treating health effects.
