What are the Qualifications needed for Assistant Lifeguard at CGC? A minimum of Bronze Cross + Standard First Aid, is needed to be considered for any Assistant Lifeguard Position at any CGC Pool. At least 15 years of age. You can advance to Lifeguard once you complete the National Life Guard Pool Certification Course.

Many of the questions will be things that you will have learned throughout the Bronze National Lifeguard, more than likely there will be some practical and general knowledge questions. It is quite likely they will ask your examiners and instructors about your performance. Meaning that you need to do well and be professional during the bronze tiers.
How should you act during the Assistant Lifeguardinterview?
You should maintain eye contact and be professional and polite towards the Interviewee. It's recommended to sit straight and just relax.
According to my Instructor at CGC. There is no preferred professional clothing. You should just wear something that looks good, and you should wear swimming clothing underneath incase they decide to have you do any of the course exams to see how you perform.

You will be contacted through your email or phone regarding your interview and job position. Please remember that once you complete National Lifeguard you can receive a job offer from CGC as a Lifeguard and not an Assistant Life Guard.
How many shifts can you work ? At CGC you must work at least one shift a week, around 45 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes.
