- An Oasis is a pond with trees, plants, grass, and water. Animals go there to get shade and drink water and eat plants. The water in some Oasis is about 20,000 years old. And Oasis are important to the people who live in the desert because you need water to survive.
- Muhammad was the messenger of the Allah. Muhammad was born in 570 CE/AD. When Muhammad was growing up he saw that wealthy in Mecca and help the poor people, but then many wealthy merchant stop help the poor. So Muhammad decieded to pray in the cave. One day a angel apperared and and told that there is only one god, Muhammad was frighted and told his wife. Muhammad decided to tell people and them people wanted to kill him. Then Muhammad when to the Kaaba and destoryed all the false gods. Then people started to believe him. Muhammad died in 632 at his home at Medina.
- The Five Pillar of Islam were Shahadah/Faith, Salah/Prayer, Zakat/Charity, Sawm/Fasting, HaJI/ Pilgrimage. Faith mean in Islam their is no other god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. Prayer Muslims have to pray five times a day. Charity is when Muslim have to give to the poor. Fasting is when Muslim have to go without food and drinking for a month. Pilgrimage is when a person must travel to Mecca once in there life.
