The Last Supper
At the first day of Passover the last supper was the final meal Jesus had with his twelve apostles in Jerusalem before his crucifixion. Judas, one of his apostles betrayed him. After the supper, as a sign Judas kissed Jesus on the head so that the Romans knew who to arrest.
Jesus was accused of blasphemy and sentenced to be crucified. He had to carry his own cross and people along the way ridiculed him, he was nailed to the cross and left there to die. Afterwards he was moved to a cave tomb.
Crucifixion of Jesus
Three days after Jesus died, the stone in front of the tomb had been moved and his body was gone. He rose from dead. Another miracle of God known as his resurrection. According to the bible is death was a sacrifice for the sins of others. His resurrection presents the potential for rebirth, salvation and renewal of faith.
