- The Effects Of Electromagnetic (EM) Radiation (Part 2) -Jhanna Crystyl S. Padilla
- Bukowski, now I will tell you the effects of EM radiation:The heat produce by the EM radiation can be beneficial on on electromagnetic waves, telecommunication, physical and biomedical aspects. However, this becomes hazardous when the exposure towards EM radiation becomes frequent and long-term. The truth of this stipulation can be witnessed in medical examinations and treatments. It can be observed that the conduct of medical examinations and treatments by hospitals are in moderation because if it conducted oftentimes, the more likely the patient will be on a cancer risk. Accordingly, this cancer risk can become cancer when the EM radiation resulted to gene mutations and DNA fragmentation that causes cell mutation and cancer. Unfortunately, these are not just the dangerous effect of EM radiation to human body because EM radiations can even cause different diseases such as mental disorders, neurologic illnesses, cardio diseases, and fetal abnormalities.
- I quite believe that there are more effects of Electromagnetic radiation . And if perhaps, I am right in believing about this, could you further discuss to me about it?
- You're definitely right about that Bukowski. Yes, there are many observed effects of EM radiation all around us, in our environment, and in our bodies.
- The effects of EM radiation to other living things, excluding us, is extinction of certain species, more particularly extinction among insects in different locations. Also, EM radiation from cellphone towers causes diseases to plants and animals which in the latter can lead to their death and extinction. Meanwhile, the effect of EM radiation in our environment is concerning. The EM Radiation specifically, the Ultraviolet radiation can be attributed to this concern that causes severe effects in the earth's biosphere by the depletion in ozone concentrations in the atmosphere. In addition on what has been said about the cancer risk in the health condition caused by EM radiation, EM radiation also causes spontaneous abortion for pregnant women, reproductive and development problems, and overall declination in the human health.
