- Lennie is all alone in the barn, his pup' just give his last breath.
- Lennie is all alone and is very worried about what George is going to do if he finds out.
- Oh no, I killed the puppy.? If George finds out I killed the puppy, he won't let me tend no rabbits.
- Curley's wife arrives, and she is very lonely and wants to see what Lennie is up too.
- Hey Lennie, how are you. I'm really bored. What are you up to?
- You know, all I want is talking to someone, to matter to someone. I'll tell you, my story.
- George won't let me tend the rabbits..
- Let go of me you are messing up my hair. Stop your hurting me.
- Curley's wife told him about her story, and they end up by Lennie touching her hair, but he gets out of control, and he eventually breaks her neck. Curley's wife tells Lennie about how he always wanted to be an actress. She lets Lennie touch her hair and he starts to get scared and starts to squeeze her tightly until she flopped like a fish and died.
- Shhhh, be quite or George if not going to let me tend the rabbits.
- Curley's wife is dead. Lennie put some hay on her to cover her.
- (HAY)
- Oh no, what have I done. Let me cover her up with hay so they can't see her. Let me hide in the brush till George finds me.
- Lennie left the barn with Curley's wife laying on the floor dead. George and Candy walk into the barn where they see Curley's wife on the floor dead and are worried abouts what's going to happen when Curley finds out.
- Oh my god, what happened. This had to have been Lennie. I have to go find before Curley does.
- Maybe these bastards could lock him up you know? He didn't want any of this.
- Oh my god, George. Do you think that Lennie did this. If he did you have to get him as far as possible, or Curley will kill him.
- George made a deal with Candy; he left the barn before Candy so they wouldn't think he did it with Lennie. Everybody in the barn now knows what Lennie did and now Curley is furious, and he is going to track down George and kill him.
- I swear to God I am going to find that retard and kill., he deserves to be lynched!
