Hi! I am a student at Salerno University! I’m in the medical program and it truly lives up to its famous name! I really enjoy the school and have a lot of fun learning about the medical program even though I’ve only been here for a short amount of time. I not only study medicine but also learn about theology and the history of my college which was founded during the Middle Ages! If you are interested in studying medicine and are trying to figure out where to go to college I would really suggest Salerno University !
Now I’m going to talk about my day to day life here on campus! Everyone morning we are required to wake up at 5 am! I know pretty early but every morning we go to a prayer service which is a great way to wake up and praise God! Then after prayer I have my first class which is one of my favorite classes that teaches about medical law. After this class I head over to the dinning hall for breakfast/lunch. Then after this I head to the rest of my classes that consist of a theology class, a history class based on the Middle Ages, and the history of our college, and more classes about medicine and becoming a doctor!
Salerno University is very prestigious and requires you to know all of the material taught that day. We have a lot of homework and studying to do everyday! Then after I study and go to bed I wake up and do it all over again the next day! On the weekend we are expected to study but we do get a break as well.
If you aren’t that interested in studying medicine I’m going to tell you about the about the other programs that our school offers! Most of the people that go here are either wanting to become a surgeon/doctor or become a teacher. As I’ve said before our medical program is most famous here and you can study for to be any doctor, nurse, or surgeon, we offer it all! We also specialize in theology and history.
Lots of people who come here are of middle eastern descent and come to learn more about the Middle Ages when their culture was founded and flourished. Our theology classes talk about all different religions from the Middle Ages as well as Catholics/Christians, the Muslim religions from this time. Well I hope I’ve provided enough information about Salerno University that you decide to come here and flourish in your academic career.
