- How could they kill so many soldiers here in Rio Grande. It must have been that fair lady’s idea to send them. Although this means war I don’t want anyone on any side to he hurt. I have also decided that I might settle in America, and that might make me a traitor to my country.

- Although I might be a traitor but due to the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo you guys have our land now. But I would also take this as a blessing who knew we would see each other again. Its funny that even some many casualties in the war that we could be reunited.
