- While sailing they found the Mississippi river they thought it would be a shortcut to the pacific ocean so they sailed it.
- Cabeza de Vaca and his men became the first Europeans to explore the southwestern to what is now called the United States.
- While sailing the swift current nocked them back to the gulf.Then four boats shipwrecked but De Vaca's boat washed ashore near texas.
- Welp we lost some more of our friends but lets focus on winter.
- A group of eight men washed ashore texas not prepared for winter.
- C'mon guys dont be scared we will be fine
- Many of the man died from hunger and cold.De Vaca and three others continued west on foot.
- The four men stayed with indian for a time until they continued westward through what is now called new mexico.
