- The American soldiers arrived in New Zealand during World War II defend the country against potential Japanese invasion. The three Chinese-American soldiers are scheduled to be deployed to the war zone on Tuesday as part of the ongoing military effort.

- Silvey and her family celebrate Christmas Day with lots of presents. They gather around the beautifully decorated tree. Silvey is filled with joy as she unwraps thoughtful presents from her loved ones. Silvey receives a note from the guys thanking them for everything and mentioning that their destination is still being determined. This mysterious message intrigues the whole family, sparking conversations about future surprises or adventures. Silvey begins to wonder where the guys could be and what exciting plans they might have in store.
