- Part one of the Roman Republic:How the Consul get their job and for how long and their job.
- Just in general they had the ultimate authority and the bad thing was that they were constantly advised by the senate. They would have their jobs for two years. They also had control of the army and government./ I need some water now I am out of breath /
- The senate selected two men that are patricians (the wealthiest people in Rome) for the Consul. They also needed to be voted in from the plebeians. / takes in a deep breath /
- They also watched the Consul to Advised them and also take money from them to keep them in check. What the senate does is that they were in charge of the laws and money.
- Part two:How the senate got their jobs and how long and how they keep the consul in check
- / Why did I come here / How the senate gets their job was that 300 to 500 men would be elected for the role and then be in that for their whole life.
- Part three:How the assembly keeps the senate in check.
- The assembly kept the senate in check by either giving a law a pass or a veto. / Now that this is over I can watch this awesome fight going on /
