- The beginning of the holocaust for Poland. this was at least the beginning for Krakow, Yanek had turned 13 not long after it had begun and oficially became a man. A little bit later his parents were taken to a camp as well.
- Scene 1 for me is the invasion of krackow
- This was after one day Yanek was taken to plazow to work and perhaps even is own death. It had begun with yanek entering and seeing who he thought was Uncle Moshe. Yanek had called out to him but Moshe did his best to ignore Yanek, later Yanek and Moshe finally reunited. One day Yanek had found some cash in his fathers old coat same with his mothers, moshe was thrilled when Yanek had told him about it. Unforunatley though one day moshe was missing when Yanek had asked where he was a fellow prisoner had stated ththat aamon goeth had killed him. Yanek was very upset until one day he had found a loose board underneath was a little safesapce, he was nearly cought with a few others once though and never went down there again.
- When Yanek found uncle moshe in Plaszow
- This was when the judenrat had found the former Nazi officer dead with salt in his wounds
- Not long later after Yanek was nearly caught he was sent to the Wieliczka Salt Mines. Months of back breaking work had led to the preveioulsy mentioned former Nazi officer was found dead and was pretty much ignored overall
