80 years later, the ecosystem is sprawling this ecosystem is a forest ecosystem. It has a lot of biodiversity in its plants and animals including flowers, mammals, and insects. This ecosystem is very cold and snowy in the winter and nice in the summer.
After just a short 328 years, what was once a lush forest is now a forest with colorful plants and a variety of wildlife. It is a great example of the intermediate disturbance hypothesis, where an ecosystem grows back better than it was before.
