Every Christmas, Sierra and her family go to California where they sell Christmas trees at their Christmas tree farm.
Climax
Sierra's friend Heather who works at the Christmas tree farm with her tries to convince her to date someone to go on double dates with her and her boyfriend. Sierra is not sure because when she goes back home to Oregon where she lives, she dosen't want to get herself into a long distance relationship.
Climax
Sierra meets a boy named Caleb while he is buying Christmas trees for families who couldn't afford them. She helps him and instantly starts to like him.
Falling Action
Sierra gets convinced to get to know Caleb better and maybe even get him to trust her and tell her more about a rumor she had heard about him. They both start bonding and falling for each other as Sierra helps him deliver trees to families.
Caleb and Sierra talk things out and Sierra finds out the truth about Caleb and his life. It makes her feel much better because the rumor she had heard was constantly on her mind making her question Caleb and who he really is.
As Sierra and Caleb are getting to know each other better, a boy named Andrew who works at the tree lot told Sierra's parents about what was going on between them. Her parents do not respond well, making Sierra not be able to see Caleb again.
