- He’s lying very still by the side of the road. I saw the name on the collar, I think a car might have hit him. I’m sorry, Nora.
- Oh Volts. Oh no. Oh God.
- What!?
- Nora Seed sat on her dilapidated sofa scrolling through other people's happy lives, waiting for something to happen. And then, out of nowhere, something actually did. Someone, for whatever peculiar reason, rang her doorbell. She wondered for a moment if she shouldn't get the door at all.
- I'm sorry, My cat died. Last night. And I had to bury him. Well, someone helped me bury him. But then I was left alone in my flat and I couldn’t sleep and forgot to set the alarm and didn’t wake up till midday and then had to rush.’
- He discovered that the person at the door was a man, and one she recognized. It was good to see him. They had a little funny conversation, but Ash expression looks serious. His voice contained something heavy and trying to say something.
- Everyone's got mental-health stuff.
- Listen, Nora. I like you. And I know you've got mental-health stuff.
- You know what I mean.
- And it turns out that Ash tell Nora that her cat, Voltaire, died. That make her stop for a while.
- I need a job.
- You need freedom.
- You are a good person. You worry about the world. The homeless, the environment.
- Nora arrived late for her afternoon shift at String Theory. She explained her reason to Neil, the boss of a musical shop where Nora works.
- Neil didn't reply and thinking as he was Confucius contemplating a deep philosophical truth about universe rather than the boss of a musical equipment shop dealing with a late employee. Out of nowhere, he said something to Nora and it looks like Nora did not take it that serious.
- I'm feeling much better, generally.
- Neil asked Nora about her past as a swimmer. He keeps on telling Nora about her capability of everything and the only thing she need to do is to believe on herself and forget about others will say, that we all have choices.
- I don't want freedom.
