- One day she couldn’t hold it in. She started to cry in class. Her teacher called the front office and the school counselor came to their classroom. Eliza followed her to the counselor's office. The counselor talked about how her parents had talked to her. She said that she thought that she might have anxiety. “Anxiety?” Eliza asked. “Yes.” the counselor said, “But, anxiety is very normal. Almost 9.4% of kids have anxiety. That; 's about 5.8 million. “Wow,” Eliza said. “If you’re ready, there’s someone I want you to meet.
- “Eliza. This is Mrs. Evans. She’s the school’s therapist. If you want she can have meetings with you so you can talk.” Eliza shook Mrs. Evan's hand. The counselor gave her a paper to give to her parents to sign. A couple weeks later she and Mrs. Evans had their first meeting.
- It felt really good to be able to talk with her. Mrs. Evans was nice and they played games like Uno and Jenga. When the school year was about to be over they had their last meeting. “I can’t see you over the summer.” Mrs. Evans said. “But, I do have a solution.” She pulled out a paper. It said BlueFire Wilderness Therapy on it. “What is it?” Eliza asked. “It’s a summer camp. Kids with anxiety, anger issues, and other things go here over the summer.”
