Uncle Podger hangs a frame

- A picture would have come home from the frame - makers, and be standing the the dining room waiting to be put up. And Uncle Podger took the responsibility to hand it.
- He started by taking of his Jacket. He send the girl out for sixpen'orth of nails, and then one of the boys after her to tell her what size to get.
- Go get me the Hammer ,will. And Tom go get me the ruler. Maria stay here I want you to hold me the light.
- He lifted the picture and dropped it. He tried to save the glass and he injured his hand. He couldn't find his handkerchief because he left it in the pocket of his coat but he also forgot where he kept his coat. so all of the house started looking for the coat while he would dance or do nothing.
- There are six of you and not even one of you can find the coat that I have not even left here 5 minutes ago.
- He got up and found that he was sitting on the coat. Then it took him half an hour to tie his hand then the tried to hang it up again . He had 2 people hold the chair the 3rd will help him up there and hold him there the 4th will give him the nails and the 5th will give him the hammer. Then he dropped the nails.
- They all searched for the nails and as soon as everyone found the nails uncle Podger forgot where he kept the hammer. after finding the hammer he forgot the spot. Then he forgot the measurement and he kept on forgetting. By midnight.....
