- The U.S. involvement for world war I was German submarine welfare.The German note  to the Mexican government was that if they were to all against the U.S. when we had nothing to do with the war. And president Woodrow asked congress to declare war.

- The U.S. involvement was to contain communism in Asia and to stop an aggressor. In 1950, North Korea invaded South Korea to have a communist country but the U.S. helped south Korea but still lost.

- The U.S. involvement was to stop placement of nuclear missiles on Cuba.Russia started sending nuclear weapons to Cuba 90 miles away form U.S. The U.S. had spy planed and found the nuclear weapons on Cuba and stopped them from nuking our homes.

- The U.S. involvement was to prevent the spread of communism.President Harry Truman believed that there should be more democracies but the Russian army was still in European lands and Europe became communist.
- The U.S. involvement was that the CIA hoped to overturn Castro in Cuba.The CIA trained Cuban exiles in order to overthrow Castro. John F. Kennedy launched an attack on the Bay of Pigs without sending air support an got swept.
- The U.S. involvement was that terrorism had struck and two terrorist planes crashed into the twin towers. The U.S. went and sent troops to Afghanistan in order to find the person who planned the tragic event.
