- After his crazy night at work, and stealing a book Montag does not feel well the next morning. He is sick, and cannot stand that his wife will not turn off the parlor, or at least turn it down some.

- After Montag and his wife get into a little bit, Beatty shows up. Mildred had not vene called when he showed up.

- The parlor is playing as Beatty comes in, walking towards Guy's room. Montag is nervous, Beatty has this smirk and how he acts makes me think he knows something is up. He knows Montag is rethinking a lot. Wondering if what he does is the right thing.

- Beatty talks about random things and is throwing Montag off. Beatty more than likely already knows what going on. It can be told Montag has had a change of heart about what he does. Guy is nervous, afraid Beatty can read exactly what's on his face.

- Once Beatty finally leaves, Mildred is in for it. He goes to the air shaft and feels around for what he is looking for. This is a long-awaited secret Montag has kept for over a year.

- Coming from the hall Montag sits and reveals books. Mildred is in absolute despair, she falls to the floor screaming and crying. Then there doorbell begins talking to them, someone is at the door yet again. Mildred thinks Beatty has come back and they are about to be burnt,
