- I just had a crazy idea. Why don't you try jumping hurdles without your contacts in? the championship is in 4 weeks and we need to get you started on these hurdles. Tell me Lu, what can you see?
- Exactly. The finish line. All we have to do is count how many steps t'ill the hurdles, and waltz it from there.
- I can see Patty, Sunny, the parking lot, and the finish line.
- Lu had to take out his contacts because he got dirt in his eyes. nobody knew he had to wear contacts, but that didn't bother him. The biggest challenge for Lu right now, is to jump hurdles, blindly.
- Kelvin Jefforson?... I haven't seen him since elemetary school. Why is he here? Is he related to Whit?...
- Lu had an encounter with his elementary school bully; Kelvin jefforson. Lu thinks about how he's changed and how there are no more scars or bruises on his body while Kelvin spits sunflower seeds on the ground.
