- In my first year, I had moved from the Customer Service team to the Marketing team at Psittacus Systems with no knowledge of the subject. I signed up to the university course to gain knowledge and progress in this field.

- But I've worked so hard!
- In year two, I had good foundation knowledge of the principles of marketing and worked within a team to produce content for a handful of internal clients. Despite doing well in my course and working hard, I wasn't given much support or opportunity to progress, and my manager massively knocked my confidence through her hurtful coments and behaviours. However, my confidence as an employee had grown through my university and working experience which eventually enabled me to seek a new opportunity where my knowledge and skills were valued, and could develop further.

- The skills and knowledge gained through my two years of working and learning experience enabled me to seek a new opportunity with another organisation where I could grow and continue to develop. I moved into a remote organisation which meant that I had transitioned from working as part of a team reliant on others, to working independently and off my own initiative. This further enhanced my confidence as I had to make my own decisions and branch out into other areas of marketing which I wasn't given the freedom to do before, as well as serve external clients. Whilst challenging, this experience has made me a much more well-rounded individual and has meant I have learned an abundance of new skills in a just the short space of a year.
