  • Fact: Some think Monet had nuclear cataracts, causing him to see the way he did.
  • Hi I'm Claude Monet! I was born in Paris, France on November 14, 1840. Believe it or not, some of my friends and I started Impressionism painting!
  • Fast Fact: Monet was very ill- tempered. If he didn't like a painting, he would break or throw it into the river.
  • As a boy, I didn't like art class because I didn't get to paint what I wanted to paint. One day I met an artist named Boudin. He inspired me to paint.

  • My second wife was named Alice Hoschede, the one in the green dress. We lived in Paris until I died on December 5, 1926. HEY! WHY WAS THAT IN THE SCRIPT?!
  • This is my wife, Camille Doncieux. We later had two children added to the Monet family. Sadly, Camille became sick so I moved back to Paris and sold every painting I could to pay for her wellbeing. She died on August 31, 1879
