- I don't know anything about you, it intrigues me. I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing yet. But I just can't seem to get away from you..
- Bella ends up having to move to Forks, Washington, to live with her dad, Charlie. At her new school she meets “The Cullen's” and develops curiosity for Edward Cullen.
- Bella Swan living in Phoenix, Arizona with her mom, Renee, and her moms boyfriend, Phil. She has been living there all her life, and loves it.
- I love it here, living in Arizona with my mom and my step-dad! I never want to leave.

- Awkward-- we are not happy with you staying here with us Bella..
- Hey, whether you like it or not I will make sure that we are friends. You can't run away from me.
- Bella never refuses the call, she is drawn to Edward multiple times in the story and always ends up by his side fighting for their friendship to continue multiple times.
