- Maggie is paralyzed in the hospital after her fight against Billy the Bear. Long shot: to show they are in a hospital and how lifeless they both look
- Maggie wants to die so she bites off her tongue to try and bleed out but is caught.Doorframe shot: showing the nurses running in through the door to find her bleeding out, establish panic, make the viewer feel the intensity of the situation
- Maggie is put on suicide watch in a new hospital where she is sedated and Frankie can only watch her, not interactShooting Through: shows her all alone in her room sedated while he looks at her through the window and we can see his emotion as he looks at her through the window
- Frankie goes to the church for confession and before the priest arrives, he lights 5 candles. One for his wife, his parents and siblings, his children and grandchildren, his friends, and one for MaggieLong Shot: to show the new setting of the church, him kneeling at the alter
- The priest does his confession with him, where he says he killed a girl and can't talk about itMedium Shot: shows the emotion on both people's faces up close as they talk back and forth
- He sneaks into Maggie's room that night and injects adrenaline under her tongue to kill her as peacefully as possible and then sneaks away into the nightMedium shot and close-up: first, use a medium shot to show him talking to Maggie, then a close-up switching between her face as she dies and his face as he watches her die in front of him
