- Grendels goes in for revenge and start killing people
- Beowulf goes to grendel's mother home to fight her
- Grendel's mother drags beowulf down fiery water
- She reached herot, where the danes slept as though already dead: her visit ended their good fortune
- Grendel's mother is beating beowulf
- He leaped into the lake, would not wait for anyone answers the heaving water covered him over.
- Beowulf grabs a sword and cuts off grendels mother's head
- she welcomed him in her claws, clutched at him savagely but could not harm him. tired to work her fingers through the tight ring woven mail on his breast, but tore and scratched in vain.
- Beowulf emerges from the water with the hea
- They wrestled, she ripped and tore and clawed at him, bit holes in his helmet, and that too failed him.
- Lifted in high over his head and struck with all the strength he had left, caught her in the neck and cut it through, broke bones and all
- The monsters hall was full of rich treasures, but all that beowulf took was grendel's head and the hilt of the giants.
