- A small, run-down house with a single mother. Mira (a teen girl) and Adi (a younger boy) are getting ready for the day. When she leaves the house, her mom worries more about her daughter and son.

- Why can’t we take the bus like them?
- We’ll save money for more important things!
- Mira walking Adi to school along a dusty road, passing a bus stop where other kids board.

- Mira walking back home and stopping outside Uncle Rafiq’s small shop, where a poster about a tailoring training program is pasted on the window.

- Sometimes, the right opportunity is worth the effort
- Uncle Rafiq, a kind middle-aged shop owner and a good friend of Mira, notices her staring at the poster and encourages Mira to join the workshop.
