- Hi, my name is Adaliya I live Nigeria, we speak over 500 languages and is seventh most populous country. I'm a african student traveling to Greece to learn more about there ways and history.

- While traveling to Greece I learned the reason colonies were started. This was because the greek commuities grew and there wasn't enough farm land for everyone. Before they started colonies they went to war and started fights claimling land as their own.

- Omg, I never knew that greeks were so creative, because of how rocky the land was it was hard to grow plants and crops. They had to find the best ways to make use of so little land. So farmers built wide earth steps into the hills to make more flat land.

- Many Greeks relied on trade to get needed goods.Olive oil and pottery from the mainland were exchanged for grain, timber and, metal. The goods were carried on the Merchants ships. These ships weren't built for speed so it took them a long time to travel.
- The greeks from different settlements didn't really have communication with eachother because traveling over the mountains and across the water was very difficult.Traveling by land was especially hard. The roads had sharp rocks and shattered wooden wheels making it hard to cross.
- I didn't know that the mainland Greece is a peninsula. Wow I can't wait to go back to Neigera and tell my class and teacher everything I learned about the greek history and culture.
