- Peasants grew increasingly frustrated with their jobs/positions. In 184, these peasants attacked the North China Plains in the Yellow Turban Rebellion. The government spent large amounts of money to counter the revolution, but corruption in the government prevented this from being successful.
- I hate this job! Lets rebel and attack this empire!
- The Yellow Turban Rebellion has been going on for a while now and the Han dynasty would be coming to an end.
- The Yellow Turban Rebellion has been going on for 20 years now and I don't think our empire will make it.
- 400 years after the fall of the Han dynasty, there was constant warfare because many general and warlords wanted to try and take control of China.

- After the wars, there were many emperors who took over, but not for a long time. After the Tang dynasty, there were 5 dynasties in the north who took control of China before the Song dynasty. Taizu was a military inspector-general who seized the throne and founded the Song dynasty, which would last until 1279

- After the Song dynasty gained control, they started to get many achievements. The population got bigger, they made new inventions, and they strengthened the education system. The era of the Song dynasty is considered to be a golden age.
- One thing that the Song dynasty did was that if someone wanted to become a goverment offical, they had to take a test based on Confucian ideas and pass, but some people cheated.
