I'm sorry but I'm not interested in looking for a new route, I'm focused on the southern route
Hello Mr. King of Portugal, could you lend me some boats to look for an alternative route sailing west?
Wow Christopher Columbus was right
Hello dear kings, today I have come to tell you that what Christopher Columbus told you was true and I have evidence to prove it.I have them here
Christopher Columbus proposed to the king of Portugal a new route to reach Asia by traveling west. The project was rejected because Portugal was committed to the southern route.
Christopher Columbus presented his project to the Catholic Monarchs who decided to finance it.
The expedition, made up of three ships, left the port of Palos de la Frontera, in Huelva, on August 3, 1492.
First he went to the Canary Islands to collect food, from where he set sail a month later.
Years later, in the 16th century, the navigator Américo Vespucci went to the castle of the Catholic Monarchs to demonstrate with various tests that Christopher Columbus was right. The Catholic Monarchs were surprised to see that Christopher Columbus was telling the truth.
